There are over 300 children in the foster care system in Collier County and over 700 in Lee County.
National Numbers
In 2021, a recorded total of 203,770 children entered foster care in the Unites States. This number made for a rate of 3 children per every 1,000.
Time in Foster Care
Over half of children in foster care spend at least 18 months in the system.
